SensorPush Wireless Gateway

The SensorPush G1 WiFi Gateway communicates with any in-range SensorPush sensors (sold separately) and sends their readings to you using standard internet access. As long as your mobile device has internet, your SensorPush app can now stay updated no matter where you are in the world. Our internet-based service allows the G1 WiFi gateway to do all this. It’s where your sensor data is securely stored and made available to the app. More than one mobile device can log into the SensorPush account at the same time, so more than one person can get alerted by a sensor.

The cost of the service is included in the price. No monthly fee.

With additional sensors, you can monitor multiple humidors, several points within a large humidor or add other critical areas in your home to monitor. Several configurations are available including wine cellar, freezer, vacation home, attic, basement, etc.

Also, the gateway makes it possible to sync all the mobile devices logged into an account. They can effortlessly stay up-to-date on current conditions, history and also details like alert settings. There is no set limit to the number of sensors you can monitor with a single gateway. The gateway works seamlessly with all existing SensorPush sensors. An external antenna improves Bluetooth reception for communicating with sensors. An Ethernet jack makes it possible to bypass wifi.

Whether using WiFi or Ethernet, your network needs to be able to configure clients automatically via DHCP. Static IP addresses and other custom settings are not available at this time, although we may add such capability in the future, if there is a need. With WiFi, you’ll be able to use WPA/WPA2, WEP, or open networks. Web-based WiFi authentication (like you often see in a hotel, for instance) is not supported at this time. If you don’t know what any of this means - don’t worry, you’re probably fine!
